About her
There is a limit to the benefits of independence, so I would really like to share the good (and bad!) bits of me with a like-minded significant other- for the journey. Ever the optimist, my glass is definitely half full, I look after myself and am fit and healthy. I have played racquet sports for most of my life but I am now trying to preserve my knees (and other joints) for walking/hiking/skiing those hills and trails. During the pandemic being able to get out and walk though the countryside was a life saver.
I try to tread lightly (but not obsessively) on this earth–inevitably there are trade-offs for treats and indulgences. I have an open-minded and compassionate nature, am empathetic (I think), been described as enigmatic (hmmm), and enjoy a good giggle. I live in a lovely place and try to put something back into my local community, whilst keeping an eye on the big wide world. I have travelled extensively in the past for work and pleasure, but not so much recently. I need to get this one sorted – I have my railcard at the ready!
