About him
I like beauty and classical style. I am a natural contrarian and sceptical of all we are now told, especially about Covid. I am loyal, kind and generally very contented, though I miss romance. I think I have a great sense of humour and I am full of laughter and fun. I was abroad in the Middle East and the Caribbean for years but I am now very happy where I grew up. I enjoy restoring my early Victorian town house and have filled it with books, antique furniture and my various collections. My York based heritage and museum trustee work gives me plenty more to do. I also enjoy walking in mountains and hills, not least on the beautiful nearby Wolds. I have four grown up children who are very close to each other and to me.
