About her
I take quite a joyful approach to life, with an optimistic outlook. It's not that I ignore life's complications and difficult times; rather I have an unwavering dedication to fighting my way back towards those good and happy and peaceful aspects in life, and helping others do the same. I believe that's how my friends would describe me as well. That, kind, a balance between focused and lighthearted. And tenacious (I choose the word tenacious, they might say this slips into stubborn dedication.. from time to time....). I have a fairly extensive range of interest. I've never been much of a specialist in one or two things, preferring instead to explore bits of a lot of topics. My profession is very much my calling and my craft, and so outside of my main work as a multimedia producer I'm often still engaged with media, most typically with local performing arts organizations. I love the arts, from theatre to music to film, but am equally happy at sporting events, and being outdoors. I absolutely adore travelling, from places around the world to new-to-me discoveries nearby. And in all things, I do love a good challenge!

I think an ideal match for me would be someone who truly wants to be a partner. For me that means sharing adventures and moments of joy, and equally sharing everything from the mundane of every day life to walking through the difficult moments together. I'd love for us to have some activities we like to do together but, for me, I think it's equally valuable if we have a lot of our own interests that we can then share about with each other. A balance between being a couple while also being individual people. I think empathy is incredibly important, as well as genuinely being interested in each other, and a commitment to communication. Someone who looks for moments of joy, who is passionate about something (their work, their hobbies, anything!) and interested in sharing about it, and who wants to get to know me and be known by me in turn.
