I am a logophile, bibliophile, cinephile and italophile (fluent in Italian), humorous and inquisitive, gregarious but also enjoy being contemplative in my own company.... My passions are all of the arts especially literature, film, painting, classical music and dance, general cultural enrichment and challenging of my brain, animated but polite discussions, learning languages, doing crosswords, pub quizzes, karaoke, running, tennis (Federer fanatic!), the countryside and general verdancy, the buzz of metropolises (to visit not inhabit), Indian and Italian food (eating rather than cooking to an incredible level), coffee and Aperol spritzes, educating & being educated
