My friends and family would describe me as being kind, caring, calm and patient. A good listener.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going for walks, reading, baking, singing in a choir.
I love being on the sea; my favourite thing is pottering around Poole Harbour, anchoring and swimming/kayaking, and having a BBQ. I love sailing, but have tended to prefer being incompetent crew, rather than at the helm .. lol.
However, having recently bought my own boat again, I am becoming accustomed to being the more experienced person on board. I have completed my day skipper theory and practical this year.
I have always had jobs where I am helping others - I am a fostering social worker, and I work part-time.
Having recently moved to a new town, I have started to get involved in the community by helping with some community events through the local church.
