I have a joie de vivre and positive attitude to life and will make you laugh. My friends say I am kind, sometimes serious but also fun and very intuitive.
I am well educated and cultured - love the arts and I paint for my own enjoyment.
I really enjoy good theatre particularly fringe, almost all music but predominantly classical, walking in nature or exploring a city especially wonderful architecture. I lived part time in France for 15 years and Edinburgh for 10 years. I am South African by birth but moved here in my twenties. I like good food and wine and love my e-bike. I go to the gym, enjoy yoga and Pilates and swimming in the ocean and skiing too (although prefer cruisy blues and reds these days!I am very self contained so can be on my own very happily but also happy to be sociable. I have a lot of friends but they know I need my quiet down time too. I also travel as much as I can because it constantly broadens one’s horizons. I backpacked round the world solo for a year at 46. I do volunteering work for a local Arts Society doing their posters, flyers and publicity.

I like tall men (I am quite tall), well spoken, who are empathetic and sensitive. A man who has a more youthful attitude and physical ability to enjoy life as I do where age is just a number. Someone who can mix with all different types of people and doesn’t have narrow views on life. Compassion and kindness is something I value. Someone who is positive, loves good theatre and classical music Perhaps someone who also loves travel and has the wherewithal to do so, ie an equal. I enjoy visiting heritage sites and gardens.
