About her
I have a joie de vivre and am always interested in learning and finding out about new topics and people. I’ve been widowed for a few years but despite having a full life with friends and family, I am missing that someone special but also enjoy my independence and will often do things on my own rather than always needing company.
I love the arts and I paint for my own enjoyment.
I enjoy really good theatre, almost all music but predominantly classical, walking in nature or exploring a city especially wonderful architecture. I like good food and wine and enjoy my e-bike and walking. I am healthy and fit, go to the gym, sometimes yoga and Pilates and swimming but prefer the sea (and skiing too - although nowadays I’m a cruisy blues and reds girl!). I am an intermediate bridge player but would like to improve. I travel as much as I can because it constantly broadens one’s horizons and I enjoy the planning as well as the journey. I backpacked round the world solo for a year at 46. That required a lot of planning!

I like tall men well spoken and educated. Adventurous and spontaneous with a wicked twinkle in his eyes wouldn’t go amiss. A man who has a more youthful attitude and physical ability to enjoy life as I do where age is just a number. Someone who can mix with all different types of people and doesn’t have narrow views on life. Compassion and kindness is something I value. Someone who is positive, perhaps enjoys cultural exploits and especially someone who also loves travel and has the wherewithal to do so, ie an equal. I enjoy visiting heritage sites and gardens too.
