About him
I am happy, enjoy my life and live in a delightful home. I have lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and until recently had a home in France. I am quick to laugh and my friends describe me as positive, optimistic, funny but with a serious attitude towards education, international conflict and good manners. That is probably because I am a school governor, a retired colonel and have been married, have two very successful sons and three inspirational granddaughters. I have been divorced since 2007. I was awarded the OBE for service during the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm)

I am looking for a woman who shares my readiness to enjoy life and all that it has to offer. Someone who likes going out to dine, enjoys the theatre and attending concerts. She will also like picnics, walking (with or without my Labrador) and just talking about how much we are enjoying ourselves.
