I mostly take a serious approach to life but can always see the funny side of things. I love good conversation, singer-song writers, foreign languages, sea-swimming, cycling, writing, spending time with friends and family. I've had an interesting and varied life to date and plan on keeping it this way.
I love reading - fiction and non-fiction. Current favourite is David Nicholls 'You are here' because it's well-written and funny, and deals with lots of themes I'm interested in like long-distance hikes and romantic connection in middle age :-)
