Hello! I'm a warm, happy and friendly person who loves being with other people. I hope I am good company. I have a good sense of humour, enjoy stimulating conversation, the arts generally, the outdoors - especially coastal areas, travelling in the UK and abroad and sitting at a dining table with people I like eating delicious food. I love music of all types and play the piano quite badly when no one's listening. My family and grandchildren are a source of immense joy to me. I relax by walking around my garden with a glass of wine noticing but not doing much about the weeds that keep growing. Being semi retired, my outlook on life is very much carpe diem and enjoy life whilst you can whilst trying to make a contribution.

This is so hard, isn't it? It's very hard to describe a match - I think it's something you will feel when you meet a person and is mainly about chemistry. Decency, kindness, intelligence, a sense of humour and not taking oneself too seriously are important. Being energetic and active whilst also knowing how to relax so as to make the most of time together. Spending time doing the things we both enjoy, but also perhaps trying new things. A deal breaker would be intolerance of any kind and rudeness to others.
