I’m retired now, having worked in software development and telecoms management for most of my career.
My interests and pastimes include cinema, current affairs and reading - popular science, biographies, novels. I’m also working on learning to draw. I keep fit through a mix of cycling, a gentle run at the weekend, and regular yoga classes. I enjoy gardening, and work part-time in a plant nursery.
My main concession to blokeishness is an occasional trip to watch a game of football - but that's something I'm happy to do on my own.
Although I enjoy travelling by train where practical, air travel is becoming increasingly unattractive both for environmental reasons, and the unpleasantness of the airport experience. And anyway, it’s good to be in the right place sometimes.
Oh, and my friends all say that I look my age. Huh.
