My interests and pastimes include cinema, current affairs and reading - popular science, biographies, novels. I’m also working at learning to draw. I keep fit through a mix of cycling, walks, running, and yoga.
After a long career in telecoms and IT, I now volunteer part-time in a plant nursery.
My main concession to blokeishness is an occasional trip to watch a game of football - usually with my sons.
Although I enjoy travelling by train where practical, air travel is becoming increasingly unattractive - both for environmental reasons, and the unpleasantness of the airport experience. And anyway, it’s good to be in the right place sometimes.
