About her
I have been on a quest for beauty all of my life, for me that is the arts. I consider myself a life-long student, looking for the narrative behind the narrative, inside pictures, architecture and stories. I am not an arts snob at all and would be comfortable chatting to anyone, if they shared the same passion.
Hobbies - I also love the art of fine fragrance, nature, wildlife and walking, old pubs, really good food and cinema. I enjoy a good glass of wine, not very often, but this is my tipple of choice if I am having a nice meal.
Personality - I am told I am really positive and grounded person, I think that is because I chase the things I love! My belief is that my own proximity to beauty, makes me feel beautiful and happy. I am emotionally literate and ready for a humble happy person to come into my life and share my fascination of the world.
About her ideal match
I would like to meet a fellow, wide eyed, insatiable follower of beauty, who smiles and laughs easily because they too; see the beauty all around. I am drawn to people who see the fun irony in things, but also the deep and serious side of things too. I would love to meet someone who is emotionally literate but really happy to be silly and knows the power of 'the moment'.
What would make a relationship work for me - listening to each other, sharing a passion for beauty, knowing how to verbalise that. Food, happy to plan things but also happy to drop everything and change the plan completely.
I would prefer a jeans and t shirt man with great manners, over an impeccably dressed man who is pushy.
I enjoy people who know their own mind, stand by their convictions, but are clever and confident enough to change these when they see the sense in it.
Deal breaker - someone who can't sort the important things from the non important. If a parking ticket, a dropped carton of milk or a splat of wine on your shirt is going to make you frown, we probably won't be a good match.
Frowning and fretting over lifes small happenings, probably won't make my heart beat faster. Worrying about the things that are important, for example sending a card to aunty Dotty because she is going to be 98, stopping to hug in the supermarket while everyone rushes around, may do that!
