About her
I live in rural Herefordshire and about to move to Inner London. My friends and family have convinced me to move to central London for a more cultural life in the winter. So I’m looking forward to partial City life especially the walks in the parks, the river, soaking up the history, access to great food markets, theatre, galleries and being nearer to travel hubs.
The past few winters I’ve enjoyed abroad in various countries. Once New Year is over I like to be in a warmer climate for a while. Last year it was India but this year is on hold until I move to London. I love Italy and go there at least once a year. I can speak the language fairly well I’d say.
My farming life is behind me now but will never leave me. Recently I renovated two houses to a high standard and sold one of them. I look back on a loving marriage and have my son to now carry on the business and I’m happy to move on to the next chapter of my life.
I belong to the U3A (University of the third Age)
and join in the lots of their activities. Some of us are off to Morocco soon travelling through the country by 1st class train
I love visiting historical cities, touring Europe and U.K, being by or on the sea, gardening, my eclectic book club suggestions, all sorts of music from rock to classical.
I’d say I am easy going and like an adventure. I love a glass or two of champagne now and again, not Prosecco. I’m a typical Leo, generous, loyal and loving. My outlook on life is to make the most of the time we have even if it’s just a normal day. I’m grateful for the life I’ve had and look forward to meeting you to share and compare our lives in harmony with good sense of fun thrown in.
