Hi
I have reached a time in my life where I have more time for myself and I am so enjoying not rushing from work to kids to friends to family. I volunteer with a local refugee project hosting destitute asylum seekers, play violin in a couple of orchestras, am actually making a violin as well (!) and keep fit with walking, racketball and yoga. I spend my time in both London and Leeds.
Travelling's always been a love and I go away when I can, so as well as weekends walking on the moors or by the sea, or chilling on city breaks, over the past few years I have been cycling in Croatia, exploring Nicaragua, going to a yoga retreat in Morocco and travelling round Cuba and Iceland. I've still got the travel bug – never “got it out of my system”. I definitely want to meet someone who can get out there with me.
Culturally, I have a pretty eclectic taste in theatre, classical and world music, art, world cinema and reading.
I have two grown up children, both working. I love the fact that they're both so independent and self-assured.
