About him
I am a musician and writer and go walking and dancing (Modern Jive) several times a week and play table tennis. I love the British countryside and particularly the Dorset Purbecks, the Lake District and Mull.
I am a keen photographer of nature particularly orchids, birds and butterflies and a member of the RSPB, Dorset Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
I also spend time with my children and grandchildren.
I am a retired Environmental Scientist and now have the opportunity to write and compose and perform my music.
I am interested in current affairs, history, poetry and literature but more recently avoid the news in despair. My politics are left of centre.
I am an open, fairly outgoing person and my friends would probably describe me as sociable and witty but also I sometimes like quiet times.
Life would be better with a partner to enjoy these activities with and to find new activities from their interests.
