About her
I am a kind and caring person who is optimistic in life, and always looks for the good in other people and situations. I have a good sense of humour and like to make other people happy. I am sensitive and a little quiet and reserved, but am more chatty when I'm in a comfortable situation.
I enjoy being outdoors, either walking by the sea or in the forest, gardening or visiting gardens. I have several hobbies including listening to music, mainly classical but I also like 80's pop, playing the piano, knitting, sewing, swimming and reading. Singing is very important to me and I sing in two choirs. I also enjoy occasional trips to the theatre and cosy nights at home.
I also enjoy visiting National Trust properties, houses and gardens, I love the historical aspect of these wonderful places. At the moment, I prefer holidays in this country rather than abroad, but with the right person I would always be prepared to compromise as respecting a partners interests is so important. I currently live with my elderly and partially sighted Mum, she still has some independence but needs a lot of help from me.

Up till now I have been happily single but I feel like I'm missing out on having a special someone in my life. I would just like someone genuine and honest to share happy times with, someone who enjoys the simple things in life. I would like to be able to share my love of the outdoors and of nature with my special person and would like someone who is optimistic, with a positive outlook on life determined to enjoy what's left. I would like my partner to have a wide range of interests, and respect those which I have.
