About her
A young 73 year old I am a caring person , also empathetic.I am half- Sardinian- my mother came from a lovely little village on the side of a mountain towards the west of Sardinia . I speak Italian quite well albeit not fluent, and I can also get by very well speaking French which I studied to A Level.
I love all types of music- 60s and 70s Pop, Rock, Jazz (Swing ,Big Band etc but not modern Jazz, and most Classical music . I love going to Musicals in the West End . I also enjoy concerts, Classical and others and I belong to 3 Jazz Clubs. I'm told I am good fun and good company . I like to socialise and enjoy eating out. I often have friends round for a buffet lunch and sometimes we raise money for a local children's hospice. I am told i'm a very good hostess. I like to think so. I also enjoy walks in the countryside and by the sea . I walk most days to keep fit .
Travelling is a passion- I particularly like River Cruises abroad and Ocean Cruises. I welcome the chance to dress up occasionally in evening dress but i am equally at home with wearing jeans and a T shirt . I love going out but my home also means a lot to me , and I enjoy staying in on a cold winter's night with a good film, a decent glass of wine and maybe a soul mate? ! I am also an incurable romantic although very down to earth . I am quite patient but I don't suffer fools gladly and I cannot bear injustice or dishonesty. I like to think I am intelligent and I am a Music Graduate ( but that probably doesn't mean anything! Lol ! ) I play the piano and i used to play alto sax. I am divorced with 2 adult children . For the past few years I have been helping my daughter with her 4 girls- school runs and looking after them in the holidays etc but now that they have entered their teens I have more time on my hands to try other things. I am looking for friendship, and more, if I meet the right person.

My ideal match would be 5'10" -- 6ft 2"". He would have a head of hair - colour unimportant. He would like Jazz and classical music although this isn't essential if we made a connection , and he would like travelling. I'd like him to live no more than 100 miles radius from my home BUT this is only an ideal and if the connection is right then I'm convinced that love will find a way. ❤️
