About him
I love the outdoors, walking, cycling, sailing, skiing and swimming. I want to go on travel adventures both in the UK and abroad, having lived and worked abroad most of my working life in biotech. I feel at ease travelling in both my camping van, or in comfortable hotels/B&B's in order to appreciate the local culture, rather than in big chain hotels. I've retired now but keep very active making organic foods and drinks, from my micro vineyard, trees and bees. I belong to a Sea Shanty group and love singing, and I like most genre of music except rap. I can be quite bohemian and go to folk and sea shanty festivals in my camping van, but also really enjoy dressing up and going to classical concerts, opera and theatre. I like to socialise and have fun but also like my own space at times and enjoy a good book and the weekend FT. I speak fluent English and French plus I'm learning Spanish. I love my 3 children and 5 young grandchildren and see them fairly regularly. I want to enjoy the rest of my life to the full but would really like to share it with a like minded person.
