About her
I love music, singing, acting, dogs, walking in the countryside, growing my own veg and fruit and enjoying just watching the wildlife that shares this planet. I also love to laugh with like minded friends, enjoy a beautiful meal, maybe after a walk, or just a quiet night in. My friends have described me as fairly outgoing and vivacious, although in a crowd I sometimes prefer to sit quietly watching others enjoying themselves. Singing and acting has been a passion of mine from a very early age and although classically trained I enjoy singing all kinds of music.
I was married to my wonderful husband for over 40 years, during which time we were a successful musical duo for over 25 years until his death from Parkinson's in 2023. But it's time now for me to begin a new chapter in my life. So I'm hoping there's someone out there who will be happy to get to know me.🙂

About her ideal match
My ideal match would be someone who loves a quiet stroll in the countryside watching the wildlife. Interested in music, maybe a singer or musician, or involved in the arts in some way and enjoys a holiday in this country or abroad. If you can cook that's a bonus too! What would make our relationship work would be that spark of chemistry with someone that has the same outlook on life, someone that makes me laugh, and doesn't take themselves too seriously. Kindness, compassion, honesty and a keen, possibly quirky sense of humour is a must!
I guess a deal breaker would be blood sports and body piercings so if you're a jingling, hunting and shooting fanatic we would definitely not see eye to eye! Someone who is content to appreciate the natural world without the desire to take pot shots at it! And if you're musical too that would be a plus, but if not it wouldn't be a deal breaker, I would be content to embrace your interests and hobbies too, whatever they may be, and at least take an interest in them, as I would want you to support me in mine. Jane and I have been friends for many years since we met while working in a drawing office. I would describe her as friendly, funny and gregarious. She's a loyal, caring friend, who loves animals, particularly dogs and I enjoy our walks together when she introduces herself to any dogs (and owners) who we encounter on the way. She also keeps me supplied with delicious vegetables grown in her garden. Oh, and I also find myself attending the local shows where she can invariably be found entertaining us with her wonderful singing voice.
