About her
My friends would describe me as caring and loyal.
I live close to my parents and brother and spend a lot of time socialising with them.
I have a small garden in which I enjoy growing as much as I can, although I am definitely a fair weather gardener. I enjoy gardening events and often come back with more plants than I have space for - these tend to end up in Mum and Dad's garden!
I host dinner parties for friends, sometimes I'll have a murder mystery dinner party and other times it is just a nice way to get people together and allows me to cook for others, which I enjoy doing. As well as cooking, I like going out to eat, especially for French-British cuisine and my favourite restaurants are Northcote and Andrew Farlie. For my 40th I went to Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons with my family and had a fabulous time. As well as enjoying fine dining I like going out for a pizza and a glass or wine, or for steak and chips in a nice pub. I'm allergic to walnuts and pecans, and can't eat truffle or shellfish - although luckily I'm okay with scallops which I love.
I'm a national trust member and enjoy visiting stately homes and gardens.
I also enjoy reading most genres of book including fantasy, murder mystery, classics and adventure. My all time favourite book is the Count of Monte Cristo and I am currently reading The King's Watch by Mark Haydon. I also sew and x-stitch cards, gifts and tapestries in my spare time. I like watching adventure and mystery films but don't watch much TV. I play the piano a little and see a PT once a week.
I like going to the Bridgewater Hall and the Lowery for concerts, musicals and the opera - The Halle Christmas is a must do for me, as I love Christmas.
My favourite holidays have been to France, Mallorca, Bermuda, Iceland and Scotland. Florence is my favourite city.
I don't have any pets and I dislike cats.
I studied at the University of Manchester and I am an Emergency Medicine Consultant working at a large Major Trauma Centre with a portfolio career in Medical Education.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys their work and also recognises the importance of having interests outside of work and getting that balance right.
Someone to enjoy holidays and hobbies with - although I also think it's important to have independent interest too.
I'd like you to have a sense of humour and a warm character.
Deal breakers for me would be - smoking, tattoos, facial hair and no work ethic.
