With a positive and joyous outlook on life, I like to focus on the opportunities for enjoyment, not the obstacles.
With loving family close by, as they are now maturing and have their own lives, I feel it's my time to shine again, and put myself first alongside a trusted companion - and I wonder if that could be you?
I enjoy the theatre, good wine, and good food, and spending time both with established friends and meeting new people. That said, I also relish time spent on crafts, indulging in a quiz or two, reading both the paper and fiction, along with a cosy evening in front of the tv.
About her ideal match
My ideal man would be kind, tolerant, considerate, and treat both me and others as equals. Someone who, despite perhaps slightly advancing years, retains that childish excitement for the odd new experience, and will allow the joy of being to wrap them up and still being comfortable in their own, and others, company.
Activity-wise, I would enjoy meals out together, theatre trips, music (both live, if seated, and at home), and some casual drives or short walks in nature. This said, sitting on a cliff top looking out to see, watching a tv program we share the enjoyment of, or having a coffee in the garden, from dawn through to a glass of wine at the end of the evening, are all equally fun.
As the suggestion includes a 'deal breaker', this would probably just be that I don't want to be taken for granted.

This feels a little unusual, as essentially this is a "Why should you date my mum?" exercise as I'm Jennie's son! It also means I may be a little biased about how wonderful she is, but, it does seem to be a pretty universally accepted fact that 'wonderful' is the right work to describe her.
Jennie is a positive and friendly lady, with a fantastic sense of humour, and she retains a child like curiosity and interest in the world, and everything within it. With interests spread across a wide spectrum, from music (especially Motown, Country and Classic Rock), through to some sports, and a variety of crafts, I'm sure you'll never be short of something to talk about.
Aside from interesting conversation, and a keen mind, you'll find no one more caring or considerate, often putting others needs before her own to the point of needing to be reminded she's important too.
A career in financial services contributed towards a broad circle of friends, but, now completely retired (apart from helping out my sister and I), it would be lovely to see a special companion join Mum on the journey that lays ahead in the approaching years.
