About him
I am a pianist, a good listener, and someone who thinks pretty deeply about things. I love to read, Scandinavian mysteries, good poetry, books about current social situations, and once in a while books about music. I've studied music since I was 7, and as much as it is a part of me I need to escape it now and then. I've been a radio broadcaster for over 20 years on a listener-supported station. I host a weekly 5-hour program, which includes classical music, poetry and jazz vocals. I work out and swim every day, not only for health benefits but because doing so helps lift my moods, and energizes me. I like to make people laugh, and I laugh at myself very often. I also love to CLEAN. That sounds strange, but it's true. There's something very soulful about cleaning. I've performed pretty extensively (as a pianist, not a cleaner), and recorded a few CD's of solo piano works; Rachmaninov, Brahms, Chopin, Guastavino, Ravel, Liszt, Bach-Busoni, Poulenc, and other composers. I don't really enjoy writing about myself, but here you go.

I would love to meet someone who is down to earth, has a sense of humor, and not afraid to be herself. I'd like to meet a woman who is pretty easy going, and enjoys simple pleasures, who is sensual and can challenge me now and then. I'm a Taurus and I can be stubborn to a fault. I'd like to meet someone who believes in romance, and is not obsessed with technology or pop culture. I don't need to talk about music every second, but I've never been in a relationship with someone who has lived with and studied piano intensely, and understands what it's all about. Being really pretty wouldn't hurt either. :)
