I'm of my era - i have values, manners and l care about what's happening in the world. I do find myself chuntering all to frequently - not sure if it's me getting old and or the world going bonkers. However, there's always reason to smile.
I lead a pretty simple, happy life. I'm not much for tv or endless scrolling and prefer a good book or some music. I love my 80s and 90s tunes and go to gigs where I can. I am that plonker you stop next to at traffic lights singing in my car...
I'm quite outdoorsey. I enjoy walking - I have dogs - and often pop for a brew afterwards. Big on gardening too so am comfy in jeans and welies. That's not to say I don't scrub up.
Although I eat healthily most of the time I am partial to a slab of cake or 2. Fortunately I bake - cant beat home made.
I see a lot of chaps on here looking for travel or fitness buddies. That's not where I'm at. Been there, done that and the old bones have been retired.
Talking of which I work part time nowadays having spent most of my life in the energency services. Hoping to put down my tools so to speak in the nexf couple of years.
I do like a good giggle, often at my own ridiculousness. I am not PC. I will swear on occasion and can be sarcastic. If this is a problem I'm not for you.
I've no expectations. Am hoping to maybe make a few friends, anything more would be a lovely bonus.

Ideal match? Weĺl it's not a 5'8, cat loving vegan with a rainbow lanyard. Short of that I'm pretty open minded. It would be nice if we had a similar outlook on life and values but also our own ideas and hobbies. Someone kind, with conversation and a sense of humour.
