Back again…..Adventurous, active, spontaneous and outgoing. I love both country dwelling and city life and exploring new places and cultures. I am quite sporty and like to keep myself in good shape. I am also a great cook and love sharing food with family and friends, but especially for romantic nights in. I have 4 independent responsible adult children who mean the world to me. They all have great partners and great lives and I have 2 grandchildren, who live abroad. I have a fulfilling social life, but missing the special someone to complete the picture. I have an eclectic and wide range of interests and hobbies including, the arts, museums, live music, finding the best gastro pubs and cafes, as well as an innate love of the outdoors: sailing, swimming, hiking, as well as just sitting in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book and good company.
I have a positive outlook on life. I am caring, empathetic and fun but have a serious side when necessary. I’ve recently retired from a professional career within the NHS and local government. I am comfortably solvent with a bit to spare.

I’d like to find someone to complement me and vice versa!
They should intelligent, but not too full of their own importance. Ideally solvent to be able enjoy some of the things that money has to buy, but also able to find pleasure in the simple things in life.
I would love to find someone romantic, emotionally intelligent and emotionally available. Someone who lights up a room rather than a shrinking violet and makes the world and my life richer for their presence.
