About him
I am a nice, honest, decent guy, but quiet and shy when meeting new people. Not so shy, once I know you. I enjoy travel, food, wine, classical music, Rugby, RHS gardens, getting out into the countryside and photography.
As with everyone, this is a difficult way to try and introduce yourself, but you have got to start somewhere.
So, I was born in Malaya, as it was then known, have lived in Australia for 10 years in the past, but happy to be home in the UK. I enjoy the seasons more in this country. They were far less discernible in Australia, so you appreciate them more when you return home. In fact, you appreciate your own country a lot more when you return home.
I enjoy travelling, particularly driving off into Europe, with my favourite areas being Bavaria, the Schwarzwald and parts of Austria. I like the freedom having the car gives you, so you can go anywhere you like, and of course, you can stock the boot and bring plenty of wine back.
I have been a professional in the computer industry for over 40 years. Work to live, not the other way round.
Having been divorced a number of years, it would be nice to have someone to share things with, be that friendship or a relationship.
