About him
I'm a chemistry graduate, currently managing a couple of laboratories and a small team of people for a chemical company in Manchester. I'm quite focused on my work and on pursuing further professional qualifications, but there's more to life than work!
Outside of work, I'm very interested in theatre, literature and music (mainly classical, but I'm quite open minded). I can't claim to have travelled extensively - it's not much fun alone - but would like to explore this planet of ours a little more widely. I'm always keen to learn new things, and I would like to start learning a language or two soon.
Quite quiet by nature, I won't pretend to be a hip-hop-happening party animal, but I can promise good old-fashioned gentlemanly respect (I'd probably be branded sexist if I were to say 'chivalry'!) and fair treatment. Honesty, integrity and reliability are important to me, and I would want to bring those values to a relationship.

My ideal match would be a quietly confident, intelligent, independent lady with a good sense of humour, who's interested in culture (and different cultures) and learning new things. She would be somebody to enjoy a meal in a nice restaurant with, enjoy a walk in the park with, or just share a conversation and a bottle of wine with. Shared interests would be great, but more important are compatibility and chemistry.
