I have some very good friends but I am always happy to meet new people and hope that this site will introduce me to some new and interesting people.
I'm a classical music addict (well, not just classical, my interests are pretty broad) and I go to lots of concerts,either with friends or on my own (if necessary) both here and overseas. I love going out for meals, and to the theatre (and opera is a particular passion of mine)
I love holidays, especially cruises and city breaks - and going to places that are interesting for historical and other reasons - but I also love going to my timeshare in Madeira !! I adore the island of Madeira and have made so many friends there.
I'm very interested in photography and I'm improving but not very sure of the technical stuff yet. I love playing Bridge and I enjoy it; I'm not bad but certainly not obsessive about it. I love the challenge.
I'm happy in my own skin but just don't want to miss out if there is someone wonderful just out there waiting...
I seem to build friendships pretty easily, and enjoy meeting up, or chatting on the phone. I'm also very fond of the internet.
I'm not very tall, but I enjoy swimming and I go to the gym regularly.
