So whats left? Music, art, books, gardening and breathing. The last is a speciality of mine, been doing it all my life. Have all the fine points down to a science.. breathing IN... breathing OUT... while sleeping, while awake, while eating, walking... LOL.... Not ugly enough to scare babies, not gorgeous enough to win any contests, but I do scrub up ok. and I have a ridiculous sense of humor. And yes, Im a yank transplant. Been in England for over 16 years.Love the country, and now that I am no longer working full time, I would love to explore more of the cultural side of life here. I love visiting castles, ruins of abbeys, old Houses... places that I read about as a child.
I am also a weekend artist, painting during long summer days until the light fades is to me one of the best sleeping agents ever! Musical, piano ( only very amateur) and guitar (even less trained..) ... but the Good Book says to make a "joyful" noise unto the Lord... didnt say it had to be professionaly trained! I do appreciate listening to classical music however, and my car radio is always tuned to Classic FM. ( hope that plug gets me a gold star rating with the company...lol)
So... why here? Why not? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And I feel that life is a huge adventure. This is just one more step on that "journey"... man how I hate that word... every Tom Dick and Harry uses it to denote the trip from cradle to beyond! Anyway... if ANY of this has held your interest for more than about 20 seconds... then drop me a line. I dont bite.

My "ideal" match? Ha! dont really think there is such a thing... however, would like to meet someone with a sense of humor, who is not looking for either a Mama, or a trophy g/f. Someone who appreciates music and the power it can have. Someone who can string more than two words together to come up with a coherent sentance would be VERY nice...lol. Just a normal sort of bloke ( love that word) who is very secure in himself, without being arrogant, nice looking without being conceited, gentle without being a wimp, and most of all.... honest. Lies are the death of a relationship and can kill quicker than a speeding bullet or was that a speeding train? Either way... tell me the truth. or Begone thou blaggardly knave!!! (wink)
