The clue is in the tagline " Nice chap ". Sorry if this is slightly archaic, or wishy washy, or redolent, for some, of an unpopular social background . I'm not a Jack the lad, tell you what you want to hear, self made BS merchant /sociopath !
Honest and reliable; kind hearted; resourceful; easy going but not complacent; practical but not pragmatic by choice. I enjoy the changing seasons; exploring the countryside; like animals(though don't necessarily see them as little people in furry suits); summer evening cycle rides; the coast and swimming in warm, clear seas. Seem to get through quite a few books,but rarely anything very weighty; enjoy music from rock (and roll) to baroque ,but appreciate peace and birdsong; occasionally watch the telly trying to avoid soaps ,sport ,shows and the (bad) news.
Architecture;engineering;arts and crafts; old motorbikes; orchards and woodlands; the V&A; some new things some old. I'm humourous and enjoy amusing conversation.
I don't want to waste anybody's time , I'm on here to actually meet (yes, meet face to face) and find the right one , not to keep playing email ping pong. Since I've put up a snapshot you'll have an idea what I look like; I stay in shape and am currently about thirteen stone.
