About him
I'm an ex Naval Officer, sailed the "Seven Seas" travelled the world, have been to most countries but still have the travel bug. I am living in Yorkshire at present, was born in Hertfordshire, lived in Middlesex, moved to Barry, South Wales until I went to sea at the age of 21. Have lived in South Africa and Canada. Having lived on my own for a few years, therefore, can cook a reasonable tasty dish (although not a cordon bleu chef) but haven't poisoned anyone yet :) not a bad gardener tending my mini orchard, love walking 'Gypsy' my Border Collie in the countryside, however, all this is done on my own. I dream of buying a broad beam canal boat and sail the rivers and canals of our 'Green and pleasant land'. So would love to have a Lady by my side to share life and what it has to offer. I know there is that Lady out there, I just have to find her, are you that Lady? Thanks for reading this very brief account of my life, there'll be so much more to find out about ourselves when we meet, maybe over lunch or dinner and a glass of fermented grape juice in a romantic, cosy candlelit restaurant next to a river or by the sea.
