About him
I'm an active, curious and fun-loving lover of life. You'll often find me laughing about almost anything. I enjoy the general live music scene in London - jazz is a favourite, exploring the city's off the beaten tracks, canal towpaths and riverside paths on my Brompton enjoying the space, sights and sounds.
I enjoy good food so I'm interested in learning more about good food and wine (perhaps less of the wine lately). I get inspired from all around me; restaurant menus, food articles from the Waitrose monthly to the Observer or some old cookery book in a bookshop and then create my own version of a dish I like the sound and feel of. So from my very own home-pride pancake stack and coffee brunch, hearty Saturday night casserole or the quick midweek tray bakes, I try to get friends round to share my latest inspired creations.
I also enjoy quiet weekends in with a good book when I can't be bothered to venture out or going for long walks to clear my head whilst enjoying the great outdoors and watching the seasons change; and also getting out and about with my 13-year old daughter.
I also enjoy going away for the weekend and constantly looking out for my next getaway opportunity. Though it's always nicer having good company to create and share all the memories with.
My friends will say I'm funny, fairly thoughtful and reasonably organised I somehow always end up sorting out venues, times, reservations, research car parks. I guess enjoying getting things done has meant I've ended up making a big cane for my own back. I don't take myself too seriously though, and will be the first to laugh at me.
It's been a pretty good run, and I'm happy with all the opportunities to learn and enjoy life so far. But it would be great to meet that kind hearted, warm, witty and amazing looking girl to share all of the Thomas goodness with. I'm hoping here's where you come in. So go on, get in touch.
