About her
I am a young 64 year old. Active in body and mind. Having a teenager around has kept me from getting stuck in the mud. I have been on my own now for 10 years, bringing up my daughter. Now that she has gone off to University I am looking to find that special someone in my life.
I am warm, open and tactile - and am looking for somone to spend time with. Either long term or short - depends on how it goes.
The most important goal I set myself twenty years ago was the adoption of my daughter from Chile. Despite two and a half years of set backs I stuck with it and was rewarded with a beautiful daughter. A sister for my much loved son. I always wanted to make a real difference to somebody's life. I realised then that I had depths of inner strength that I did not know that I possessed. I have always felt that people, friends, family and animals are more important to me than things.
I love music , listening only I am afraid. The radio is always on either in the car or at home. I enjoy most music, it depends on my mood .
I volunteer at a Wildlife organisation helping with the care and rehabilitation of sick and injured animals. I also volunteer with people with emotional difficulties. The rest of my time I spend with my family and my friends. Spending time either gardening, walking, singing (I belong to a local choir), eating out, the cinema, theatre or concerts. I also enjoy reading and cooking either for family or for entertaining. I am happy and content with my own company, have no baggage (I think). But most of all I enjoy spending time and activities with those I love and care for.
I am self employed and work from time to time fitting it around my family and friends..
I have plenty of friends and enjoy my hobies but sometimes I get lonely and would love to have a lovely warm and tactile man to spend time with. Someone to share those special moments with.

My ideal match would be somebody who is looking for a relationship which is loving and caring, exciting and interesting .
Someone who is happy with themselves and enjoyes all the good things that life has to offer with some funny moments and some tender moments. Somebody who is warm, loving and tactile. Somebody who enjoys the cultural things like theatre and concerts but who also enjoys the simpler things of life like holding hands while walking on the beach, or watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
Somebody I can be a friend with as well as much more. Someone with a GSOH and does not take himself too seriously.
