If you appreciate people who are kind, open, generous, energetic, well-educated, and aware of the world around us, there's a good chance we'll get to be great friends. If you're looking for someone a bit out of the ordinary, equal in intellectual and physical talents and skills, another good bet. I have many indoor pursuits, such as reading, painting, sewing, and woodworking, but I am also often outdoors walking/hiking, kayaking, or weld sculpting. I'm tidy. I'm respectful. I am healthy and very active. I travel quite a lot and spend the better part of each year in my home on the coast of Spain. In my working life I owned a graphic design studio in New York City. I studied for a master's degree in art history at Columbia University but I abandoned it when I realized it was drawing me into a world that disparages and excludes all but the privileged few. That didn't sit well with my progressive attitudes. I believe whole-heartedly in compromise. Do you? I'm flexible.
