I'm warm and kind with a wicked sense of humour. I love the coast and the country and enjoy walking,cooking,the arts and much more. Music and books are a big part of my life and I'm well read and reasonably well traveled, but want to see more of the world . My musical tastes range from Bach to Led Zeppelin. I sing, used to be an organist, and enjoy concerts and gigs. A walk ending in a good local pub for a drink is a favourite along with browsing flea markets and making impulse buys at auction. I dislike bad manners,pretentiousness,arrogance and smoking.
I'm quite feisty and independent but tolerant and patient too. Laughter is very important and an optimistic outlook with "carpe diem" as a motto.
