About him
In my early 70s retired early due to some mobility problems, I enjoy rugby although no longer play, cooking, reading music all sorts, from folk through jazz to classical. I am divorced so I am not looking to jump back into marriage unless we mesh really well. So much for the negatives. I am looking for a lady who likes evenings out dining alas no longer dancing, occasional cinema, as well as evenings in by the fire. I am involved with Arun Speakers a branch of International Toastmasters, so obviously I love the sound of my own voice, but since I originally trained as a nurse I can listen as well . I have recently taken up bowls because I have had to give up many sports I loved participating in. If this all sounds too prosaic I'm sorry, but what I'm looking for is a lady, initially to share a friendship and to provide some feminine softness to my life. Later who knows; I am open minded and optimistic that there is someone with whom I can share my life with all it's ups and downs

I am looking for a lady who knows her own mind and will express it, but who also has a feminine side which occasionally likes to be led or persuaded. Someone who is first and foremost a friend and confidante, feminine with a sense of fun, able to laugh with me and when necessary at herself. A lady who can see herself on the terraces at a rugby match on a cold wet February afternoon and equally in a quality restaurant in the evening. Someone who is happy to be cooked for and pampered during an evening at home as well as pampering when it;s her turn to cook. In short a friend first,a companion, perhaps a lover if t it's mutually desired. I suppose really a good mate who doesn't look silly in a skirt, if that makes any sense Must also have a strong personality to match mine.
