About her
This is the hardest bit. I'm quietly sociable with an enquiring mind and I'm tired of being alone. I love travel - but I would really love to find a companion to enjoy concerts and the theatre together, to go for long walks, explore new experiences and places, to laugh and to discuss everything and anything.
I read ( a lot), I sing (soprano) in a choral society, I play the piano reasonably well, I am passionate about gardening - especially discovering unusual plants and propagating them, which has become a family joke. I spend time in France and I love to cook and share meals with friends and family. Out there, there must be people looking for friendship and perhaps more. I don't rush headlong into things but I think I am supportive and loyal to those around me. (I also find it very hard to write about myself!)

I am hoping to find someone with a sense of humour, who enjoys life, is companionable and ready to explore new places, people and experiences. I don't need wild excitement every day and I am definitely not high-maintenance. I am looking for someone who has interests of their own and is reasonably active. A perfect date could be a country walk followed by a meal at a country pub, an early-evening drink followed by a classical concert (or maybe blues or jazz), or a visit to an interesting garden, an art gallery or a museum or even a picnic in a park.
