About her
It 's taken over a week to put finger to screen with some basic profile details, so better late than never.
I am a retired teacher and although life is good and busy it could be more interesting and fun if experiences were shared.
Have always loved classical music and enjoy concerts, recitals and started to lean the viola three years ago and now play in a small string orchestra. Outdoor activities have also included time on a narrow boat and enjoying Britain driving my six birth motorhome. Working in my garden is another love as it gives me constant pleasure as I like to spend time at home as well as going out and about. Periods of DIY keep me busy, fit and healthy. Voluntary work a couple of times a week is important to me along with various hobbies that keep the brain cells active. My young teenage granddaughters keep me on my toes too with their homework, interests, astronomy,music and out of school activities.
I appreciate stimulating conversations and discussions as this can be a good way to really get to know someone and find out how they tick!
The sea and countryside bring me peace and tranquility. Love narrow boats and travelling in a motorhome ( I used to own and drive a six birth! ) visiting places of interest and although good on my own would be even better with someone special.
I would love to meet and get to know a like minded man where we could learn to enjoy one another's interests while getting to know them.
I feel a relationship should start with a good friendship and sense of humour and progress with time to something special if it is meant to be.

The hair colour was dare from my granddaughters who didn't think I would follow it through - it is growing out now! A couple more photos may follow soon.

If possible a love of classical music and a moderate interest in other types of music would be a big bonus Theatre, the Arts, Astronomy, moderate out door pursuits, visits to places of historical interest and country houses and gardens appreciated. Places of historical interest. DIY.
I have had an active interest in narrowboats and at one time owned a motor home and loved to take off to anywhere!! Am currently a member of a Country Club and make somewhat erratic visits to the gym but would like to do more. Very interested in green issues and try to follow a lifestyle that would suggest this.
