About him
I am an ex IT practitioner and am now retired following a highly successful career as project manager/business analyst in the UK and mainland Europe. I have a maths degree, management accounting qualification and various IT diplomas. I enjoy IT and languages and am currently building a database system for my daughter's business. Speak one or two foreign languages to varying degrees of fluency and am currently tackling Russian. In my youth I played most sports, some to a high standard including football (a robust centre forward/winger), cricket, athletics and cross country. I still enjoy running, weight training and playing pool, golf and occasionally tennis. I am a keen fan of boxing and football and also enjoy cricket, squash and snooker. I enjoy holidays in the sun, red wine, good music (classical as well as pop), driving my BMW on the continent and winter nights in front of a coal fire. My friends and family regard me as introverted and at times over generous.

My ideal match is someone who is attractive, loyal, affectionate, tactile and loving. A smart dresser (even in jeans) who enjoys the good things in life including sunshine holidays, dining out and good wine. An interest in sport and general fitness would be ok but not essential. Not too extroverted; a good listener who knows how to pamper her man and be pampered. A good cook would be a bonus!
